Happy 4th of July!!

Our town celebrated Independence Day yesterday. At 10 am we headed downtown for the parade. Emmett was completely fascinated and Nolan a bit freaked. He sat on the curb, curled up with his hands over his ears. Poor guy. We sat next to a sweet old couple that collected tons of candy that was thrown from the floats. Gotta love the small town love!

We saw some sweet rides like these.....

After the parade we headed on down to the park for Fandango Days. There are dozens of booths of food, crafts and all kinds of things. Lots of fun! This is a Fandango Days tradition....

And of course the firefighters let the little ones in on the fun too...

Nolan had his first pony ride! I was almost sure he wouldn't get on but to my amazement he did. And LOVED it!

We were all beat after about 5 hours of activities out in the hot sun. I can't wait for next year!
